Traditional or Aluminum Snowshoeing
Put on a pair of snowshoes and go explore our trails in the forest.
Tubing
Pick up a tube at the activity centre and take on a slope in the one of the trails in the forest.
Cross-country Skiing
Enjoy cross-country trails in a most beautiful setting. Our intermediate to difficult trails are regularly maintained and are suitable to classical and freestyle skiing.
Skating
What is more magical than skating outdoor on a frozen lake and take a rest in a small wood fire heated cabin? Come enjoy a breath of fresh air!

Go to the GEOS Spa Sacacomie and enjoy our free indoor pool.

Downhill Rafting
Looking for a thrill ride? Take a seat in our 6 passenger super raft and enjoy the slope of a forest trail. Climb back up in one of our ATV.
Ice Fishing
Although Native American, ice fishing is now a traditional activity in Quebec. Accompanied by a guide, visit a small wood fire heated cabin on one of our lakes where ice fishing awaits you. Learn how to drill your hole in the ice, handle your fishing rod and reel in the fish. Your guide will cook it on a wood fire.
Snowmobiling
Dressed from head to foot in cold climate clothing manufactured in Quebec by Kanuk, ride a Bombardier snowmobile and discover the wilds of the forest of the Saint-Maurice Region decorated in her beautiful white coat. Whether you choose to leave for a few hours or a full day, day or night, be assured you will live a most exciting experience.
Dog Sledding
Follow your musher-guide to the kennel and fall in love with our 125 huskies and malamutes. Choose those that will form your team for your dog sledding experience. Be the musher of these beasts in the forest trails and across Sacacomie Lake, or enjoy the ride wrapped in warm fur blankets.
Ice Driving
Challenge yourself! Drive a racing car on frozen lake circuit. Learn with a coach how to develop new driving skills and push your limits.
Evening with the Wolves
With a guide-teller, go hike in the woods equipped with a head lamp under the stars. In the cabin of the trapper which has been turned in to a wolf museum, enjoy a hot chocolate and listen to stories and legends about the animal.
Woodsman Hiking
Put on a pair of snowshoes and visit the trapping site of our woodsman on an island in Atocats Lake. Let him tell you his lifestyle and cook you bannock (Indian bread) on a wood fire.
American Indian Interpretation
Transport yourself in to the world of First Nations! Find yourself in the heart of a site where the reconstruction of First Nation dwellings is carried out; shaputuan, longhouse, teepee, yurt. Your guide will inform you about the lifestyle, the use of traditional tools, furs and spiritual objects. You will also enjoy typical products.
Maple Sugar Feast
Come satisfy your sweet tooth at the maple forest pavilion! Visit the maple forest and learn the techniques of syrup making and its history. Continue with the tasting of traditional dishes (pea soup, homemade bread, house-ketchup, baked beans, omelette, smoked ham, potato fricassee, ear crunches) and maple products (pancakes, grandfather’s dumplings and taffy).
Horseback Riding
Under the trained eye of your instructor, get on horseback and ride landscaped trails in the forest. .
Cariole
Wrapped in warm fur blankets, let our team help you discover our enchanting site. Enjoy this moment to cuddle up close to your love one, or just enjoy the time with the family.
Mini-Farm – One-Day Visit
Your little-ones have the privilege of visiting our mini-farm. Tasks of the upkeeper: collecting eggs; visit the rabbits and the horses, feed the goats and the guinea pigs. The activity ends with a pony or horse ride with a guide holding the animal by the bridle.

No time to make a stop in Montreal or Quebec City? We can arrange a visit with a driver-guide to one of the two largest cities in the province of Quebec.
Ski-plane
For an unforgettable experience, let yourself be seduced by a 20-minute ski-plane flight over the hotel, the Mastigouche wildlife sanctuary, and the 600 lakes of Saint-Alexis-des-Monts. Images forever etched in your memory!
